Within the wonderful scenery of Pantelleria and of a traditional “dammuso“, the typical lava stone house in the island, the landscape architect Alberto Zaccagni created an amazing garden to accommodate the various outdoor activities of the owners; blurring the boundaries between inside and outside the garden turned into a real outdoor extension of the house, a living room with the sky as a roof, that can adapt both to social or more private events taking place in the property.

Alberto Zaccagni considers sound an important component of outdoor living; one of the main themes of his design was the possibility to achieve exceptional quality of the diffused sound while integrating the system within the landscape, in harmony with the whole context of a “dammuso” house, that seems like arising directly from the surroundings.

Taking advantage of the exceptional qualities of an A.S. system, both in terms of sound and integration, he created a sonic oasis right in the heart of the property, a stepped “greenery theater” gathering the social life of the house. Three Spheres sonic modules, in different materials and sizes, were placed in a triangle on the various levels of the terraces, integrating seamlessly between the yellow wayfaring tree and the prostrate rosemary that are brightening and enlivening the environment.
